Ezekiel Philip Epler passed peacefully in his parents’ arms at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center on Thursday evening, May 10, 2018.
Born at 21 weeks, weighing only 15.5 ounces, he was loved and cherished by all who met him.
Ezekiel joins his great-great-grandparents, Howard and Mary Slayton; his great-great uncle, Don Slayton; and his grandmother, Amy Tesch-Nicholson.
He is survived by his mother and father, Brandon and Veronica Epler and his sister, Anya. Also surviving are his grandparents, Jeff and Nancy Slayton, Lonna Farrell, and Philip Epler; his many aunts and uncles, Roxanne, Jonathan, Jillian, and Caroline Slayton, Darius and Jennifer LaPierre, Michael and Kathryn Guevarra, Cheyenne Farrell, and Timothy Epler; and his cousins, Emmalyn and Ensley LaPierre, and Aria Guevarra; his great-grandparents, Ervon and Annabel Tillman, Natalie Wortman, Joel Slayton, Philip Epler, Judy Dalton, and Doug Farrell; his great aunt and uncle, Jane and Skip Saucier.
The family would like to thank Eastern New Mexico Medical Center for their care and support as well as Ballard Funeral Home and Waide Construction for their generosity during this time.
