Coaches Fabian Anaya and Priscilla Anaya, along with Roswell Daily Record publisher Barbara Beck (holding football) recently gathered with members of the boys and girls “Headliners” — the Hike It & Spike It teams sponsored by the RDR. Competing this year for the boys will be Sammy Archuleta, Dominic Silva, Frankie Anaya, Ramiro Sanchez, Isaiah Galindo and (not pictured) Alex Sanchez. Also pictured is Roman Grado, waterboy. Competing on the girls team are Iyana Warner, Mila Espinoza, Jazzlyn Morales, Carmen Grado, Mariana Bencomo and (not pictured) Izabel Quintero. The Hike It & Spike It flag football tournament, featuring local teams as well as squads from around the country, takes place Memorial Day weekend.
