Check out this elemen-tree

Local artist Miranda Howe, owner of the Bone Springs Art Space, stands by the “tree” she and about 200 Berrendo Elementary School students created from a white structural column in the middle of a busy corridor at the school. The project, sponsored by the Arts Connect program of the Roswell Independent School District, features a colorful canopy and branches, pantyhose leaves made by third graders; painted clay bugs, lizards and birds made by fourth graders; and a mosaic tree trunk crafted by fifth graders.
