New Mexico State Police say a 20-year-old Hobbs woman died around 6:30 a.m. Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on State Road 18 in Lea County between Hobbs and Lovington.

Sierra Don Colvin was ejected from a 2003 Toyota Avalon and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to a crash report.

Police say it appears seatbelts were not properly used and that alcohol does not appear to be a contributing factor.

The initial investigation indicated the Toyota was traveling north on State Road 18. For unknown reasons, the vehicle left the roadway onto the east shoulder and rolled.

The crash is still under investigation and no additional information is available at this time.
