The Robert H. Goddard Planetarium at the Roswell Museum and Art Center is expanding its public program schedule through the summer.

Beginning this week and continuing through August, the planetarium will present shows at 2 and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and continue offering shows at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Three different shows will be presented in the schedule rotation throughout each month. Each show will last about 40 minutes and many will include a film and a “star show” presentation using the planetarium’s specialized equipment. (The star show portion may not be included in certain shows.)

For a schedule, along with the descriptions of the featured films, for June, July and August, please visit roswellmuseum.org. The planetarium page is found under the “Learn” tab.

Planetarium shows are free to museum members and children under 4. Admission for others are $3 for children (ages 4-15), $5 for adults (ages 16-59) and $3 for Roswell residents (bring ID), seniors (age 60 and older) and active military members with a military ID.
