The City of Roswell is establishing an internship program for college and high school students so they can gain professional experience and potentially earn course credit toward their college degrees.

According to a news release issued Friday, the paid internships would be available in most of the city’s departments and would generally last no more than four months. Students could participate either during the school year or summer.

To inquire about available internships and how to apply, call the City of Roswell Human Resources Department at (575) 637-6268. To learn specific details about the new program, contact Director of Administrative Services Elizabeth Gilbert at (575) 624-6700 or e.gilbert@roswell-nm.gov.
