Roswell Daily Record subscribers will soon notice upgrades to the newspaper’s e-Newspaper aimed at providing a more complete and user-friendly online experience, both for desktop users and those accessing the news on mobile devices.
The new features begin with an enhanced version of the e-Newspaper — also referred to as the RDR’s “digital replica” edition. The new e-Newspaper will be interactive, allowing readers to view it in the traditional format — seeing pages as high resolution PDFs — or to choose an “article view,” which presents stories as text with accompanying images.
Readers will also be able to enlarge text for easy reading — and multi-taskers will enjoy the ability to listen to an article while at work or on the go.
The new e-Newspaper is expected to launch in July, and RDR readers can now test out a demo version of the new features on the rdrnews.com website to familiarize themselves with the new layout and tools. Visit rdrnews.com and hover over e-Newspaper for a drop-down menu, then click Test New e-Newspaper.
The Roswell Daily Record will also soon release an e-Newspaper App that can be downloaded for free from both the Apple and Google Play stores in conjunction with the formal launch of the new e-Newspaper.
