Liberals enjoy a double standard

Roseanne Barr offended me years ago when she grabbed her crotch when she was booed for disrespectfully singing the Star-spangled Banner. Her latest affront got her fired, and some speculate her liking of Trump had something to do with it. Others say there’s a double standard because football players get a pass for taking a knee at the singing of our national anthem.

While people of all political persuasions engage in boorish behavior, the champions of crass are liberals versus all others combined by a score of eleventy-eleven to five. This is the ratio of Democrat politicians, like-minded pundits, and liberals in the popular media, like Robert De Niro.

There is a double standard. Liberals call conservatives racists without proof, and the news media doesn’t demand any because they’re propagandists for the Democratic Party.

Rod Rosenstein, deputy attorney general of the Justice Department, recommended the firing of FBI Director James Comey for his handling of the investigation of Clinton’s email server. The president fired Comey, then Democrats and Never Trump Republicans got Rosenstein to appoint Robert Mueller to investigate Trump’s supposed collusion with Russians to get himself elected. This hoax’s intent is to unseat him.

Six months ago, Inspector General Michael Horowitz referred Andrew McCabe, deputy director of the FBI, for prosecution. McCabe likely conspired with FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page to exonerate Clinton, so she could run for president. They also probably planned how to dump Trump if he got elected.

The FBI and Justice Department have been impeding congressional oversight to conceal their and Obama’s wrongdoing in the 2016 election. POTUS “wants to know everything we’re doing,” Strzok texted Page. They’ve been investigating Republicans in search of crimes while ignoring criminality to protect Democrats.

Horowitz looked at how the investigation of Clinton’s email server was handled. He found Comey insubordinate because it wasn’t his job to exonerate her. He said political bias didn’t motivate him, but Comey was glad his sacking led to Mueller’s appointment as special prosecutor. Horowitz made no more referrals for prosecution.

Until we agree that players will stand or not play, we’ll remain a divided country, and if the law protects one group and persecutes another, we have no democracy.

We need a special counsel to investigate the politicization of our government. McCabe, Comey and Clinton could be the first among dozens to be indicted.
