We here at the Historical Society for Southeast New Mexico would like to thank the community of Roswell for its support in turning out for the sold out Guy Penrod concert last month, March 6. Individuals from over 15 New Mexico cities and additional states were represented at this breathtaking event. Today, testimonies, calls, notes, and letters continue to come to the Historical Society for SENM and none of this would have been possible without the tremendous support throughout the community, and because of this the HSSENM had no extra expenses.

We would like to offer an especially huge thank you to Grace Community Church. Without the support of the church and amazing ministries within the church — such as the Security ministry, Greeting Ministry, Music Ministry — the entire pastoral staff of Grace Community Church, and Lendall Nolan, Richard Jolley and Shannon Batson, none of this would have been possible.

It has been a motto of the HSSENM that great things happen when we all work together. This is a true testament Roswell supports wonderful events! Event sponsors included Southwest Printer’s, Best Corn Ranch, Dry Hole Inc., New Mexico Dairy Producers, KOBR-TV, Senior Circle, Pecos Flavors Winery and Bistro, Parrothead Properties LLC, 106.5 talk radio, Majestic Radio, Roswell Daily Record, Desert Sun, Clary Sage Bed and Breakfast, Fairfield Inn and Suites Marriott, Ameripride, Fatman’s Beef Jerky, Sam’s, Jason Perry and Tom Blake.

So again, thank you.
