New computers at Boys & Girls Club

The Roswell Boys & Girls Club received five new laptop computers thanks to an education grant from Leprino Foods. The computers will be used by kids ages 6 through 18 to help with after-school homework, which is called Power Hour, said Unit Director Natasha Welt, who is pictured assisting the students. “As much as we can, we want to instill in them to be self-directed learners,” Welt said. The club, which did not have any computers whatsoever until Friday, is set to receive two more, making a total of seven. (Timothy P. Howsare Photo)
