Farmer’s Market through October

The annual Farmer’s Market continues on Saturdays from  7 to 11 a.m., at the Chaves County Courthouse lawn offering fresh produce from the area. For more information, visit mainstreetroswell.org.

Four-day Christian camp meeting

The Nogal Mesa Ranchmens Camp Meeting will be held July 18 to 22 in rural Lincoln County. This is an interdenominational Christian camping experience for the whole family. The camp was started by ranchers in the area over 75 years ago and is open to everyone. There will be worship service, Bible study, prayer meetings, The camp meeting is free and meals are provided, but donations are needed to sustain the camp from year to year. From Roswell, drive five miles west of Capitan on U.S. 380. Turn south at mile marker 80 on Ranchman Campmeeting Road and drive for about five miles. Patsy Says Farewell

The farewell show of Maryl McNally takes place July 20 and 21 at 7:30 p.m. at The Liberty Club, 312 N. Virginia Ave. McNally, known to many people for playing Patsy Cline in both Roswell Community Little Theatre and Neverland Theatre Company’s productions of “Always, Patsy Cline,” is moving to New York in August to earn her Master of Fine Arts in Theatre Management and Producing at Columbia University. For two nights only, she’ll be performing at The Liberty to say thank you to Roswell for the past seven years and goodbye.

The show will include Broadway classics from “Follies,” “Les Misèrables,” “Kiss Me Kate” and “Oliver,” as well as some of Patsy Cline’s greatest hits. There is a dinner option before both shows. For more information, visit holdmyticket.com or call 575-627-2121.

Runners/Walkers Club to meet

The Roswell Runners/Walkers Club will meet July 23 at 6:30 p.m. at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center, 807 N. Missouri Ave. Tasha Curry of Sprint Rehabilitation Clinic in Roswell will be the guest speaker. Curry is an expert in treatment and will discuss treatment as well as prevention of exercise-induced injuries. Clay Camp coming up July 23 to 27

Students ages 11 to 16 will use their best tools — their hands — to roll, pinch, tear and sculpt clay to create several projects they can take home at Bone Springs Art Space, 212 E. Walnut St. The camp takes place July 23 to 27. For more information or to register, call 575-208-0916.

Youth group meets every Thursday

The St. John’s Parish Youth Group meets every Thursday in the Juan Montoya Building. The youth group is for young people ages 13 to 17. For more information, call 575-626-5823 or 575-910-2630.
