Roswell police respond to multiple burglaries

Criminal damage 

An officer was dispatched at 5:17 p.m. July 13 to the 1500 block of North College Avenue in reference to a call about $200 of criminal damage done to a tire on a 2011 Kia.

An officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of Lea Avenue at 11:44 p.m. July 13 in reference to a call about $501 in damage done to a Dodge caravan.

Dominique Miller was arrested at 6:11p.m. July 14 at the 1100 block of South Kentucky Avenue for marijuana possession.

Possession of drugs or drug paraphernalia

William Charro was arrested during a traffic stop July 13 at 4:50 p.m. at the 500 block of East Third Street and Garden Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jno Edward Polak was arrested at the 1600 block of North Michigan Avenue at 5:40 p.m July 13 for possession of marijuana.

Desiree Holloway was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia July 13, after an officer discovered syringes during a 2:15 p.m traffic stop at the 100 block of East Bland and South Main Street. She was later released with an adult arrest citation.

Samuel Hayes was arrested at 5:39 p.m. July 14 on the 1300 block of South Main Street for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kassie Price was arrested at 12:34 a.m. July 15 at the 600 block of South Main and East Bland streets for possession of marijuana during a vehicle stop initiated because a license plate on the vehicle was unreadable.

Burglary and larceny

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Avenue at 3:51 p.m. July 13 in reference to a burglary that occurred at the 700 block of Greenbrier Drive. A dresser set valued at $100 was reported stolen.

An officer responded at 5:19 p.m. July 13 to a call at the 2200 block of North Washington Avenue about the vehicle burglary of a 2014 Hyundai Sonata. A laptop computer, backpack, a textbook and binder with a combined value of $661.99 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to a call at 11:50 p.m. July 13 at the 600 block of East La Paloma Lane about a vehicle burglary. A handgun valued at $450 was stolen.

An officer responded July 14 to a 2:27 p.m call at the 500 block of La Fonda Drive about a vehicle burglary of a 2014 Ford PK truck. A work bag with tools and equipment and keys with a combined value of $510 was reported stolen.

An officer responded to a vehicle burglary at the 100 block of Stephen Circle at 4:02 p.m. July 14. A set of knee pads, a ratchet set, an open-ended wrench set, a screwdriver set, a set of wire strippers, a ratchet screwdriver set, a pair of boots, a climb bag and a truck tool box collectively valued at $710 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched July 14 at 4:40 p.m. to a business at the 4000 block of North Main Street in reference to a call about the shoplifting of a Vitamix blender and multiple food items with a combined value of $697.64.

An officer was dispatched July 14 at 4:41 p.m. to the 500 block of South Sequoia Avenue in reference to a burglary. A 32-inch flatscreen TV valued at $170 was reported stolen.

An officer responded to a 5:57 p.m. call July 14 at the 1400 block of Mossman Drive in reference to a burglary. Two boxes of rare comic books, a framed signature of Marcus Allen of the NFL Raiders and two Walther PK380 magazines with a combined value of $6,500 were reported stolen.

An officer responded at 9:44 p.m. July 15 in reference to a call about a burglary at the 1700 block of North Kansas Avenue. Three Dell Vasro computer towers with a combined value of $520 were reported stolen.

An officer responded at 1:30 p.m. July 16 from the 100 block of Briarwood Place in reference to a burglary. An X-Box 1 valued at $300 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched at 11:24 a.m. July 17 to the 900 block of West Forest Drive and Union Avenue in reference to a call about the unlawful taking of a green 1998 Ford SUV.

An officer responded to an 8:13 a.m. call July 18 at 401 North Railroad Avenue to a call about a burglary forced entry. A jack, an ax, a toolbox with tools, two doors and a shed wall with a combined value of $585 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched July 17 at 1:30 p.m. to the 100 block of West Second Street in reference to a larceny call. A Lenova Yoga 370 laptop valued at $2,000 was reported stolen.

Vehicle pursuit

Police assisted Chaves County deputies at 9:29 p.m July 13 in a vehicle pursuit on the 400 block of Evergreen Avenue.

Embezzlement

An officer responded to a 8:35 p.m. call about a $5,000 embezzlement July 14 at the 2000 block of West Second Street.

Battery

An officer was dispatched at 12:39 a.m July 16 to the 400 block of West Country Club Road in reference to an instance of aggravated battery with a firearm.
