On March 24, 1947, Marcy was born to Merenciano Salazar and Mary Silva in Kingman, Arizona. During his youth, he was a boxer and was successful at winning golden gloves. Marcy was a hardworking man throughout his life. He was employed at Glover’s meat processing plant, where Marcy spent some time providing for his family. He then moved on to the Nova bus plant, where he was a materials handler until retirement. Marcy enjoyed restoring classics as a hobby, often times restoring classics from junkyard cars to brand new ones of which he made all original.

The most important job Marcy had, was not these careers, but his title as Husband, Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather. He loved each of his family members so much and would drop whatever it was to attend any family gathering. Marcy would not miss anything for the world when it came to family. He was loved by many and is everything we strive to be when it comes to this life. “We love you so much words cannot describe how much we will miss and love you.”
