An experienced New Mexico airport manager has been named the new air center manager for the Roswell International Air Center, Air Center Director Scott Stark announced Thursday.

Stark said that Mark Bleth, most recently the airport manager for the Truth or Consequences Municipal Airport, will join the city’s staff Wednesday. He will be responsible for negotiating sales and leases and other property management issues, Stark said.

Stark said that Bleth has experience working in computer security with the U.S. Air Force and also worked at Sandia Labs and with Cisco. He also ran his own bus tour business and is a real estate agent.

Bleth, who has already left his position in Truth or Consequences, was not able to be reached by press time.
