Vehicles damaged in Tuesday shooting

A vehicle and a house were damaged in an afternoon shooting Tuesday in the 1000 block of North Greenwood Avenue.

Roswell Police received a call at 2:46 p.m of shots fired, according to an incident/investigation report filed with the police department.

Sgt. Ron Smith said Wednesday he does not believe any individuals were struck by gunfire during the incident.

A 2000 Gray Chevy Silverado, 2002 White GMC truck, the wall of a house, two windows and a screen door were all damaged in the shooting, the report states.

The report does not say how many shots were fired.

Smith said that as of Wednesday it is not known who is responsible for the shooting.

“No leads have been found at this time,” he said.
