William A. Wilson Jr. also known as Bill Wilson was Born at the Peppin place west of Lincoln, New Mexico on February 9, 1929 to Bill and Belle Wilson.
He is proceeded in death by his Parents, and Great Granddaughter Aerilynn Seifert. He is Survived by his Wife of 69 years Peggy Jean Wilson, 2 daughters Carrie Jean Greenwell and Husband Shane of Rush Valley, Utah. And Christa Loranne Demare and husband Greg of Columbia, South Carolina. 7 Grandchildren Christian Seifert and husband Chris, Justin Kimbrough, Jessica Kimbrough, Daniel Kimbrough, William Pettibone, Austin Ashley and husband Tevon, and John Pettibone, and 7 great-grandchildren Aubree, Brayden, Declan and Riley Seifert, Charlee Rassmussen, Xander Reiser, TJ Ashley, and one sister Silvia Zorn.
Bill Graduated from Capitan high school in May 1945. He then served in the national guard for a short time before joining the Airforce. He served in Toyko Japan during the Korean conflict as a cryptographer then was stationed at Offutt Airforce base until December 1956 when he retired. He then worked for the New Mexico State Highway department until 1988 when he retired as district administrator of the SE district.
Bill was always a hard worker, He loved his savior Jesus Christ, He adored his wife and Family and was always a Mr. Fix it for anyone he could help. Many have said “They just don’t make them like Bill Wilson anymore” and they couldn’t be more right, he will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
