Arsonist causes $30,000 in damages

An officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Delaware Avenue at 1:21 a.m. Aug 3 in response to an act of arson on a single occupancy dwelling. A back side of the house sustained $30,000 worth of damage.

Burglaries/larcenies

An officer responded to a call at 6:25 p.m July 31 in the 2000 block of Mesa Avenue in reference to an in-person burglary where six purses with a combined value of $150 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Broken Arrow Road at 6:46 p.m. July 31 in reference to a vehicle burglary. A pair of Christian Dior designer sunglasses, a green backpack and a buck knife with a combined value of $600 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of North Main Street at 5:15 a.m. Aug. 1 in reference to a call about a larceny. Two Pilot Frank’s Car Servicer vehicle magnets with a combined value of $100 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to a motel at the 1300 block of North Main Street at 6:03 a.m. Aug. 1 in reference to a vehicle burglary. A box of ratchet straps, box of drill bits, drill tips, grinder attachments, a Sawzall, toolbox, Skill saw, drill, impact drill, grinder, sander and batteries with a combined value of $3,544 were reported stolen.

An officer responded Aug. 1 to a 6:47 a.m. call about a vehicle burglary at the 3000 block of Barcelona Drive. A GPS system valued at $100 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of Lea Avenue at 8:41 a.m. Aug. 1 in reference to a larceny. A Toro Lawn Vacuum valued at $700 was reported stolen.

An officer responded at 10:49 a.m. Aug. 1 to a call at the zero block of West Second Street about a vehicle burglary. Three drills, a radar and a bag with a combined value of $350 were reported stolen.

An officer responded at 10:49 a.m Aug. 1 in reference to a vehicle burglary call at the 100 block of East 23rd Street, where $274 worth of clothing was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of Union Avenue at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 1 in reference to a vehicle burglary. A Lincoln Welder valued at $4,000 was stolen.

An officer responded at 10 p.m. Aug. 1 to a call from the 400 block of South Sequoia Avenue in reference to a vehicle burglary. Sixty rounds of ammunition for a Tulammo rifle, 25 rounds for a 12-gauge shotgun, 100 rounds for a .45 caliber handgun, 50 rounds for a .38 caliber handgun, a Remington 1187 shotgun, a pump shotgun, a .410 shotgun, an AR-15 pistol, a .22 Ruger rifle, a .22 Remington rifle, two gun cases and a Taurus .38 special with a combined value of $2,730 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1800 block of South Main Street at 10:25 p.m. Aug. 2 in reference to a robbery with a firearm. A black wallet with a value of $25 and $240 in cash were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1200 block of North Grand Avenue at 8:08 a.m. Aug. 3 in reference to a vehicle burglary. A handgun, revolver, handgun magazine and box of ammo with a combined value of $2,150 were reported stolen.

An officer responded to a 7:31 p.m. call Aug. 4 at the 700 block of Swinging Spear Road about an incident of criminal damage. The roof of a Volkswagen beetle sustained $500 of damage.

An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of West Albuquerque Street at 6:09 p.m. Aug. 4 in reference to an aggravated burglary. A Ruger SR40 handgun valued at $750 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of West Albuquerque Street at 2 p.m. in response to a call about the unlawful taking of a vehicle valued at $27,000.

A police service aid was dispatched to the 400 block of North Main Street at 8:41 a.m. Aug. 4 reference to $500 in damage done to a window.

An officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of North Main Street, a business, at 11:05 a.m. Aug. 4 in reference to a call about criminal damage done to a vehicle, where a gas line sustained $150 worth of damage.
