Roswell Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in a vehicle burglary that happened at a local motel earlier this month.

Images from security cameras in the parking lot of the Day’s Inn show two men during the burglary of a black work truck parked outside the Day’s Inn in the 1300 block of North Main Street. A press release from the RPD states that the burglary took place between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. on Aug. 1.

Tools with a combined value of $3,544.88 were stolen from the back of a black 2015 Toyota, according to an incident report.

One of the images shows a white car with its door open that is believed to be associated with one of the suspects, the RPD press release states.

People with any information related to the case or that could help identify the suspects are asked to contact the Roswell Police Department at 575-624-6770 or Chaves County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-594-8477.
