Police respond to shooting Tuesday

Roswell Police responded Tuesday to multiple calls about a shooting in the area of Washington Avenue and Second Street.

Roswell Police Department Public Information Officer Todd Wildermuth said in an email early Wednesday that when the purported victim, a 23-year-old male, was found, it was discovered that he might have been shot at, but not hit.

RPD’s incident report identified the victim as Jordan Wood Wesson.

The email said the male suspect was found near the scene.

No charges have yet been filed because Wesson has been uncooperative with investigators, Wildermuth said.
