The Assistance League of Chaves County received a visit from representatives of the New Mexico Department of Health whose arms were loaded with backpacks filled with school supplies for children served by Assistance League’s Operation School Bell program.

The donations were provided by vendors at the recent Health Fair sponsored by the New Mexico Department of Health. The visit and tour of Operation School Bell facilities occurred at the Assistance League chapter house located at 2601 N. Aspen in Roswell.

Discussion included ways our organizations can further collaborate to meet children’s needs in the community.
