Roswell Police are searching for a man who is believed to have pulled the trigger in a shooting last week that left one man injured.

Dellavecchio Jr.

An arrest warrant was issued Wednesday for Thomas Joseph Dellavecchio Jr., 42, of Roswell on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and felon in possession of a firearm, according to a press release from the RPD.

Dellavecchio is being sought in connection with an Aug. 29 shooting at the 1600 block of South Washington Avenue. The shooting left a 35-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the neck and face. The victim is expected to recover from the injuries.

Three other suspects – David Clements, 30, Jessica K. Tarleton, 33, and Veronica L. Perez, 32 — were placed under arrest the day of the shooting on a variety of charges.

Clements was charged with accessory to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and intimidation of a witness.

Tarleton was charged with accessory to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, false imprisonment and distribution of marijuana.

Perez was charged with tampering with evidence and false imprisonment.

Clements, Tarleton and Perez allegedly refused to allow the victim to leave the residence after the shooting. Tarleton and Clements then drove the victim to the hospital, with one of them threatening the victim with greater harm if he implicated the suspect in the shooting.

An ongoing issue involving the victim and one of the people charged in the arrest may have been what sparked the confrontation that led to the shooting.

Dellavecchio is about 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs about 220 and has black hair and blue eyes. He has a scar on his right arm and tattoos on his left hand, left arm and shoulder, according to the release.

Anyone with potential information about Dellavecchio is encouraged to call the RPD at 575-624-6770 or Chaves County Crime Stoppers at 1-888-594-8477
