Roswell Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying and finding an individual who is believed to have caused a four-vehicle accident in downtown Roswell Wednesday.

Todd Wildermuth, public information officer with the RPD, said in an email Wednesday that the crash happened at North Main and Second streets about 11:30 a.m.

A black four-door pick-up truck driven by a Caucasian male wearing a red shirt is believed to be responsible for the crash. The driver and the vehicle fled the scene.

The accident did not result in any serious injuries, but the three other vehicles involved — a Buick SUV, a GMC Yukon and a Dodge van — were damaged. Wildermuth stated in the email that the driver’s truck also likely sustained damage.

Although the description of the truck and its driver are minimal, Wildermuth said the RPD hopes people might have witnessed the crash or seen something that can help identify the truck and driver.
