Ernest Ramon Reynolds, 77, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on November 23, 1940, in Tularosa, NM, to Frank R. Reynolds and Adelina Marrujo.

Ernie graduated from Tularosa High school, where he was also a volunteer fireman. He retired after twenty-three years of service from the Roswell Fire Department. Ernie was involved with the Lions Hondo Little League for eighteen years. He was a Mayordomo for Santo Niño de Atocha Chapel in Three Rivers, NM. His favorite hobbies included going camping, especially in Three Rivers. Ernie also loved listing to his huge collection of music and his Dallas Cowboys. He will be greatly missed!

He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Mary Vigil Reynolds; four sons: Ernest Frank (Joann) of Roswell, Dwayne of Albuquerque, Dennis (Stephanie), and Chris (Karen) both of Roswell; ten grandchildren: Edward, Christopher, Nathaniel, Jessica, Krystal, Victoria, Vanessa, Valerie, Zaney, and Sophia; one great-grandchild, Athena Reynolds; one brother, Ralph Reynolds and wife Wilma of Roswell; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Ernie in death were his parents, Frank R. Reynolds and Adelina Marrujo.

Those chosen as Honorary Pallbearers are: Roswell Fire Department, Donovan Hernandez, and Greg Pacheco.

Pallbearers will be: Phillip Vigil, Bob Chavez, Richard Yruegas, Antonio Vigil, Raymond Ward, and Frank Portillo Jr.

There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Sunday, September 30, 2018, 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM, and a Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM, with Deacon Ernest Martinez officiating. A Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Monday, October 1, 2018, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Santo Niño de Atocha Chapel Cemetery, Three Rivers, NM.
