President needs help from ‘bitter clingers’

“You go into these small towns … and, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing’s replaced them. And each administration says that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. It’s not surprising they then get bitter, cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant or anti-trade as ways to explain their frustrations.”

Obama said this when he was seeking his party’s nomination for president. Today, he’s campaigning for Democrats, and after trashing President Trump and bitter clingers, he acknowledged the booming economy, and then took credit for it.

Throughout Obama’s presidency, the economy was anemic. The “new normal” he said is two percent (normal is three percent). When Trump promised to bring back jobs, he said, “What’s he gonna do. Wave a magic wand?”

Trump’s cutting of regulations and taxes on businesses and wage earners have created four million jobs, including 400,000 in manufacturing. Unemployment claims are at a 49-year low, and 3.9 million Americans have been lifted off of food stamps. The economy is double Obama’s new normal and wages have grown an average of $1,000 per household.

Ignore the noise about trade wars and tariffs raising the cost of goods. Renegotiating trade deals will grow more jobs for our workers and markets for our products. Mining is back, and we’re making our own aluminum and steel again and when our new factories are at full production, prosperity will be sustained for years.

Today’s Democrats are incapable of igniting an economy because they’ve abandoned capitalism for socialism. Some admit they’re socialists, some don’t. If you believe you or others are entitled to an income or health insurance without earning it, you’re a socialist.

The architect of Obamacare (Jonathan Gruber) said, “A lack of transparency is a huge political advantage” which relies on the “stupidity of the American voter” to pass Obamacare, which is a step toward Medicare For All.

It doesn’t matter if you’re satisfied with your employer’s health plan.

Besides Govcare, Democrats want to reimpose job-killing regulations, repeal tax cuts, hurt our workers and industries and to dump Trump.

Trump is a promise-keeper. He’ll drain the swamp of political corruption, but he needs the help of bitter clingers to fix our broken immigration system — not Republicans who side with Democrats who want no borders, no walls, no country at all.
