“Much ado about nothing,” as the old bard reminded us again.

We have an 11 to 10, 50 to 48 government, as clearly shown of late. Those senators who earlier had some concerns and then voted yes will get their road or bridge or post office in Corntassel County, if they are lucky.

Those who voted no will have to wait until they are on the 11 and 50 side, when it will be their turn to receive the political gifts promised from on high.

Meanwhile, John Q. Public will have to tolerate this form of government and continue to pay the bills and watch the circus parade go by.
