Police investigate several vehicle burglaries

Arrests/arrest citations

Ignacio Gamez was charged at 12:40 p.m. Oct. 15 at the zero block of Fitzgerald Place for transport and receipt of firearms and destructive devices by a felon.

Angelica Acosta was charged at 8:04 p.m. Oct. 15 at the 1800 block of North Missouri Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kapri Wixon was charged Oct. 15 during an 8:45 p.m. traffic stop at the 1100 block of North Atkinson Avenue for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jack Salcido was charged Oct. 16 at 3:57 a.m. at the 100 block of South Main and East Walnut streets for aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Josiah Najar was charged Oct. 16 at 8:18 p.m. at the 2000 block of South Sunset Avenue on warrants of failure to appear, battery against a household member and on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.

Jacob Ramos was charged at 12:23 a.m. Oct. 17 at the 3000 block of Alhambra Drive for possession of marijuana.

Penny Cherry was charged at 12:29 a.m. Oct. 17 at the 200 block of South Elm Avenue and East Alameda for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Micheal Lem was charged Oct. 17 at 12:29 a.m. at the 700 block of East Alameda and Elm Street for failure to comply and possession of marijuana.

Larceny/theft

A PSA was dispatched at 7:30 a.m. Monday to the 1600 block of West Third Street in reference to a vehicle burglary. A wallet, multiple debit and credit cards and a checkbook with an outstanding stolen value of $150 was reported stolen from a 2017 black Cadillac.

An officer responded to a vehicle burglary Oct. 17 at 8:32 a.m. at the 3000 block of Riverside Drive. A Hewlett Packard laptop, a Hi-Yak backpack, a black teacher’s bag and a white bag with an outstanding stolen value of $215 were reported stolen from a gray 2015 Honda Odyssey.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of Deming Street in reference to a stolen vehicle. A 1999 Ford Explorer was reported stolen.

An officer responded at 5:21 a.m. Oct. 17 to a call about a vehicle burglary at the 3000 block of West Eighth Street. A handgun, sleeve holster and cellphone charger with an outstanding value of $210 were reported stolen from a 2014 white Ford.

Criminal damage

A PSA was dispatched to the 100 block of West Second Street in reference to a criminal damage. A tire valued at $102.67 on a 2015 Honda Civic was reported damaged.
