Ernestina “Tina” Candelaria passed away at her home in Roswell, New Mexico, Thursday, October 25, 2018. A Memorial Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, November 1, 2018, 10:00AM. Interment will follow her services at South Park Cemetery. On April 4, 1935, Tina was born to Modesto Navarrette and Juanita Leaton in Roswell, New Mexico. Tina had a great love for God. She loved nothing more than having her family around and cooking for them. Sports was an enjoyment for her and especially her children’s games and events. Music brought Tina great joy as well as walking, crafts and gardening. Tina worked for Avon and also worked with her husband’s company, Eddie F Candelaria and Son’s Construction. She was a life-long resident of Roswell.

Those left to cherish memories of Tina are her husband of sixty years, Eddie F Candelaria; sons: Michael Candelaria, Steve Candelaria and wife Cary, Edward Candelaria and wife Elsie, Dennis Candelaria and wife Alice; daughters: Christie Candelaria, Liz Martinez and husband Ben; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and one brother, Ernie De Los Santos and wife Mary.

Preceding Tina in death were her parents: Modesto Navarrette and Juanita Leaton; brother, Oswaldo Navarrette; sisters: Delia Urquidez, and Lucy Barela; and grandson, Robert Candelaria.

Those chosen to serve as Pallbearers are: Michael Ray Candelaria, Steven Candelaria, Marcos Candelaria, Daniel Candelaria, Damien Candelaria, and Zac Candelaria.
