Already it begins. Compared to the outgoing Republican governor, our Democrat governor-elect takes a decidedly more “open borders” attitude toward the illegal immigration problem of the advancing caravans.
One has only to look at the videos of hordes of young adult males marching, wielding megaphones, shaking defiant fists in the air, chanting anti-Trump slogans, and flying foreign flags rather than the U.S. flag, to understand (if one wants to understand, but many people don’t want to) that this onslaught does not represent an entreaty by needy women and children or a group of people all of whom are eager to assimilate and become model citizens.
A country isn’t really a country without borders.
