Roswell police respond to several burglaries

Arrests/arrest citations

Julian Carrillo was arrested Nov. 9 at 10:30 a.m. at the zero block of West Martin Street for possession of marijuana.

An arrest was made at the 100 block of West Hobbs Road Nov. 9 at 2:34 p.m. After an officer responded to a call in reference to a student in possession of narcotics.

Hector Hernandez was placed under arrest at the 100 block of Second Street and North Virginia Avenue at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 10 for driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or drugs.

Cecilio Valero was arrested Nov. 11 at 8:16 a.m. at the 1700 block of North Missouri Avenue and West 18th Street for possession of marijuana.

Burglary/larceny

An officer responded to a burglary call at the 400 block of South Pennsylvania Nov. 9 at 5:30 p.m. in response to a burglary call. The unlawful taking of a 2007 Gold Honda was reported.

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of South East Main Street Nov. 9 at 10:09 p.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary. A gun lock box, a handgun with two magazines and leather holster with an outstanding stolen value of $575 were stolen from a 2005 white Honda.

An officer was dispatched to the 100 block of North Atkinson Street Nov. 10 at 7:31 p.m. in reference to a larceny. A bicycle with an outstanding stolen value of $125 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of East Bland Street Nov. 10 at 9:38 p.m. in reference to a vehicle burglary of a 2015 Nissan Sentra. A Hewlett Packard laptop, a backpack and college books with an outstanding stolen value of $435 were reported stolen.

An officer was flagged down at the intersection of Country Club Road and North Main Street Nov. 10 at 10:45 p.m. in reference to an embezzlement. A 2017 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Highland Road at 11:32 p.m. Nov. 10 in reference to larceny of a bicycle with a value of $100.

An officer was dispatched at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11 to the 3000 block of Vassar Drive in reference to larceny of a vehicle. A tire with a value of $100 was reported stolen from a 2004 Gray Chevy.

An officer was dispatched at 11:22 a.m. Nov. 11 to the 3000 block of Circle Diamond Drive in reference to a burglary. An 18 karat bracelet, 24 karat ring with a diamond band, a wallet, two pocket watches, a computer, an assortment of tools and a leather jacket with a total value of $4,004 were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Kenela Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Nov. 11 in reference to a larceny. A debit card and $7,200 in cash were reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched at Nov. 12 at 7:30 a.m. to the 100 block of East Albuquerque Street in reference to a 911 hang up. A cellphone valued at $239 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched at 2:33 p.m. Nov. 12 to the 1100 block of South Main Street in reference to a larceny shoplifting. Body wash and soap with a total value of $175.77 was reported stolen.

Criminal damage

An officer made contact with someone Nov. 12 at 4:07 p.m. in reference to criminal damage at the 1600 block of South Kansas Avenue. A 2012 Dodge Charger reportedly sustained $1,200 in damage.
