Services: There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On July 18, 1936, Anastacio was born to Anastacio Guadaña Sr. and Ladislada Juarez in Chihuahua, Mexico. In 1966, he moved to the United States and lived in Roswell, NM. Anastacio was married to Mary Smith for several years. A loving family man, Anastacio dedicated his life to being a hardworking sheep shearer. He will forever be remembered for his amazing sense of humor, practical jokes, and riddles. Anastacio was the epitome of nobility, love, and kindness. He was a great friend and an amazing man who never met a person that didn’t adore him.

Survivors: Those left to treasure and cherish memories of Anastacio are his children: Catalina Sosa and husband Felix, Maria de Los Angeles Guadaña, Jesus Guadaña; siblings: Toribia Portillo, Abdon Guadaña, Francisca Guadaña; grandchildren: Crystal Ledezma and husband Cody, and other beloved grandchildren in Mexico; great-grandchildren: Chevelle Salazar, Izabelle Hernandez, Jensen Hernandez, Maverick Hernandez and Paxton Hernandez, nephews: Michael Hernandez and wife Ada, Jeff Hernandez and wife Rebekah; niece, Linda Hernandez; countless other beloved nieces and nephews in Mexico; and precious pet, Peanut.

Preceded: Anastacio was preceded in death by his parents: Anastacio Guadaña Sr. and Ladislada Juarez; siblings: Gregoria Juarez, Nieves Rivera, Venancio Guadaña, and Natividad Ramirez.

Pallbearers: Chosen to serve as Pallbearers will be Michael, Jeff, Cody-Ledezma, Samuel Mendoza, Raul Palma, and Freddy Gutierrez.

Our family would like to extend our gratitude to Anastacio’s lifelong friend, Raul Palma, for always being a faithful friend until the end. He was beloved by everyone and will be deeply missed.
