Glenn Terry Ezell, (Glenno) , 74, of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away March 6 in Hoschton, Georgia.  Glenn was born April 3, 1944, in Clovis , New Mexico, to Glenn Martin and June B. Ezell.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother, his sister, Gaylon Stanfield, nephew, Donald Ray Stanfield, and brother-in-law, William Smith.

Glenn graduated from Portales High School in 1962 and from Eastern New Mexico University in 1967,  earning both a bachelor and master’s degree in business administration and accounting.  After college he spent three and a half years in the United States Navy as a lieutenant, where he received numerous awards as a Supply Corp officer.  He was stationed in Chu Lai, Republic of Vietnam, for a year.

After an honorable discharge from the Navy, Glenn spent the next fifteen years in commercial banking in Roswell, El Paso, Odessa and Ruidoso.  The last fifteen years of his career were spent in Denver, Colorado, and Sacramento, California, with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a bank examiner and supervisor, where again he received  numerous awards.  He was forced to retire early as a result of a terrible traffic accident.  After retirement Glenn moved to Roswell where he enjoyed playing golf.  His other loves were southern gospel music, Mexican food, his golf buddies, and his dog, Delilah, and cat, Samson.

Glenn is survived by his sister, Glenna Smith from Hoschton, Georgia; a niece, Sherry Henry from Cumming, Georgia; and nephews, Brent Smith from Orlando, Florida, and Richard Stanfield from Albuquerque.
