Karen Kay Knecht, 64, passed away on Saturday, November 17, 2018, in Roswell, New Mexico. In honor of Karen’s request, there will be no formal service. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Karen’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

Service: A Memorial Service will be held at Christ’s Church, 2200 N. Sycamore, on Wednesday, November 21, 2018, 10:00 AM.

On October 26, 1954, Karen was born to Ervin and Doris Knecht in Travis Air Force Base, California. In 1972, she graduated from Goddard High School, and then attended and graduated from The Southwest Business College, in 1973. Karen had two children from a previous marriage of twenty-nine years. She was a homemaker and later became a loving caregiver to several families for fifteen years, of which she retired two years ago. Karen’s spirit, smile, and presence will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors: Those left to eternally treasure and cherish memories of Karen are her daughter, Pamela Davis and husband Logan Davis of Canyon, Texas; son, Jeff Lant and wife Amy Lant of Roswell, NM; nine grandchildren; brothers: Jacky Knecht of Los Angeles, California, James Knecht of Albuquerque, New Mexico; sisters: Carol Rierson and husband Ed Rierson of Portales, New Mexico, Joyce Pinkerton of Roswell, New Mexico, and Diane Kennedy and husband John Kennedy of Lahaina, Hawaii.

Preceded: Preceding Karen in death were her parents: Ervin and Doris Knecht; and brother, Ervin Knecht.
