The vision of Arts Connect is to cultivate the creative spirit in all students. Arts Connect teachers go into each school and provide lessons in visual arts (drawing, painting, sculpting) and performing (music, dance and theater). They take field trips to museums, the theater, musical or cultural performances and their four community student art galleries. Teachers choose student work for galleries according to how the student has expressed creativity and demonstrated knowledge of the skill taught for that lesson. (Submitted Photo)
