Organizers: Art and Craft Show a resounding success

0

The 38th Annual Holly-Day Magic Art and Craft Show was a resounding success, allowing us to make major contributions to benefit the youth of our community. Funds totaling nearly $7,000 have been distributed to The Assurance Home, the First Tee Program of Southeastern New Mexico, the Christian Outreach Ministries, the Royal Family Kids Camp and to Roswell’s high schools.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all whose generosity contributed to the success of the show. First, a special thank you goes the artisans, artists and crafters who exhibited at the show for providing such an excellent array of creations. Also, thanks go to Roswell Daily Record Vision Editor, Christina Stock, for publishing the article about our event, and the Roswell Chamber of Commerce for their assistance in promoting this event. We also thank KBIM Radio, Majestic Communications, Pecos Valley Broadcasting, Cheryl Pattison and the newspapers in Roswell and Artesia for their care with our advertisements. And we thank the many organizations, businesses and individuals who graciously supported our efforts in many ways, including:

Joyce Boardman, Pepper’s Grill and Bar, and First Tee of Southeastern New Mexico, Felix Padilla, Finishing Touches, the kind and patient staff of the Eastern New Mexico State Fair Grounds, Enchanted Lands Storage, the property and business owners who allowed the placement of our signs, Jorge Gonzales, Century Link, Southwest Printers LLC, Todzilla’s, Kik’s Thai Food, the volunteers who helped with the set-up and the running of the show, and the representatives from the First Tee Program and the Assurance Home who assisted vendors during set-up and take-down.

But most importantly, our vendors and the youth of our community appreciate the support of our local shoppers. From all of us at Holly-Day Magic we want to express our sincere gratitude to you and wish you all a joyous holiday season.
