Police respond to multiple burglary complaints

Arrest/arrest citations

Mario Soto was arrested for driving under the influence at 12:04 a.m. Nov. 14 at the 900 block of South Virginia Avenue and East Summit Street.

Gladys Garza was arrested at 8:50 a.m. Nov. 14 at the 2000 block of North Main Street for driving under the influence of intoxicating drugs or liquor.

Bonifacio Marquez and Albert Artiaga were arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 14 at the 2000 block of Southeast Main Street.

Kevin Soria-Ortega was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Nov. 16 at the 300 block of West Buena Vista Street and South Kentucky Avenue for possession of marijuana.

Jesus Rivera was arrested at the 500 block of East Second Street at 1:49 a.m. Nov. 16 for aggravated driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

Criminal damage

An officer responded at 12:08 p.m. Nov. 14 to a criminal damage call at the 1700 block of West Second Street. A wall valued at $100 had been spray painted.

An officer was dispatched at 4:03 p.m. Nov. 15 to the zero block of B Street in reference to a criminal damage compliant about metal fencing and a window with a combined outstanding value of $800.

A passenger door handle on a 2010 Chevy was reported damaged at 6:43 a.m. Nov. 19 at the 2000 block of Orchard Avenue.

Larceny/burglary

An officer was dispatched to a residential burglary at 12:06 p.m. Nov. 14 at the 500 block of West Tilden Street. A firearm with an outstanding value of $400 was reported stolen.

An officer was dispatched Nov. 14 at 5:12 p.m. to the 100 block of West Hobbs Street in reference to a larceny. A cellphone with an outstanding value of $999 was reported stolen.

Pecans, climbing gear, a Feather Light Stove, a tent and a sleeping bag with an outstanding value of $450 were all reported stolen at 8:03 a.m Nov. 15 from the 1700 block of Juniper Street.

A wallet and debit cards with an outstanding value of $101 were reported stolen and a window valued at $250 reported damaged at 8:53 a.m. Nov. 15 at the 100 block of Kansas Avenue.

An officer responded to a call Nov. 15 at 10:29 a.m. from the 1200 block of West Second Street about a stolen TV with an outstanding value of $250.

An officer was dispatched to the Zero block of Holloman Place at 12:45 p.m. Nov.15 in reference to a criminal damage of a mailbox with a value of $500.

A Ryobi Miter Saw with an outstanding value of $120 was reported stolen at 2:28 p.m. Nov. 16 from the 2000 block of North Chrysler Drive.

A GPS with an outstanding value of $150 was reported stolen from a 2012 Ford at 12:10 a.m. Nov. 17 at the 800 block of East Third Street.

Power tools, tools, two 12-volt sharpeners, eight cutting chains and two chainsaw bars with a total outstanding value of $2,849 were reported stolen Nov. 17 at 9:23 a.m. at the 3000 block of Encanto Drive.

Cash, computer software, a baseball bat, and credit cards with a total outstanding value of $179 were reported stolen from a vehicle at 9:23 a.m. Nov. 17 at the 2000 block of North Michigan Avenue.

A 2013 Chevy Silverado was reported stolen from the Zero block of A Street at 7:05 a.m. Nov. 17.

An officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Lincoln Avenue at 10:07 p.m. Nov. 17 in reference to a vehicle burglary. Checks and a wallet with a combined value of $1,010 were reported stolen.

Cash and a wallet with a total outstanding value of $358 were reported at 12:13 p.m. Nov. 18 from 4500 North Main Street.

A cell phone and cell phone case with a combined outstanding value of $860 were reported stolen Nov. 18 at 12:21 from the 4000 block of North Main Street.

A trailer with an outstanding value of $1,269 was reported stolen at 9:47 a.m. Nov. 19 from the 100 block of East Country Club Road.

Winter apparel, snowboarding apparel, an L-shaped desk, a bed and frame, a night stand, an entertainment center and a recliner with a combined value of $2,250 were reported stolen from the 100 block of East Country Club Road at 9:54 a.m. Nov. 19.
