Lorita Ingram 97, of Lubbock, formerly of Abilene, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, December 2, 2018. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 6th in Harvest Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas with services following at 2:00 PM. with Reverend Ed Courtney and Reverend Roy Meksch officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, under the direction of North Funeral Home, 242 Orange St.

Ms. Ingram was born on November 11, 1921, in Cogar, Oklahoma to her parents Kelly and Vivian Wilson. She was raised and attended school in Grady County, OK. She Married Howard Ingram on November 24, 1937, in Kingfisher, OK. Mr. and Mrs. Ingram surrendered to the ministry on February 13, 1948, and attended the Bible Baptist Seminary until 1950. The couple moved to Abilene in 1959 from Roswell, NM and then returned to Abilene from San Antonio in 1992. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

With over 50 years of ministry experience, Mr. and Mrs. Ingram have been used by God to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people. There are over two hundred different men and women in full-time Christian ministry today because of their influence.

Ms. Ingram was preceded in death by her Husband Howard Ingram, Parents Kelly and Vivian Wilson, Brother Billy Bob Wilson, Son Bob Ingram, Grandson Greg Ingram.

She is survived by her Son Dean Ingram and wife Sue of Lubbock, Granddaughter Kristi Jackson and Husband Brian of Lubbock, Great Grandchildren Zach Jackson, Abbie Jackson and Preston Jackson of Lubbock.
