Services: There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at 1:00 PM, followed by a Mass at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On December 6, 1980, Pedro was born to Jesus and Hortencia T. Alvidrez. in Lovington, New Mexico, and raised in Roswell, New Mexico. He worked as a truck driver. On his free time, Pedro enjoyed watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. He liked listening to music as he worked on his scrap projects. Pedro loved to cook and spend time with his family and friends.

“My dearest uncle, your laugh was always so contagious and one of a kind. Your talks, your advice, and your encouragement enlightened our days. You are more than my uncle, you are my friend. You marked our hearts in the best way possible and will never be forgotten. We Love you Pete’s!”

Survivors: Those left to cherish memories of Pedro are his son, Alejandro Nickolas Loya; father, Jesus Alvidrez; brothers: Oscar Alvidrez and wife Evodia, Saul Alvidrez and wife Irma, Alfonso Alvidrez and wife Mirna; aunts and uncles: Erasmo Loya, Elias Loya, Alonso Loya, Hidelio Loya, Fidencio Loya, Chayo Loya, Florentino Loya, and Lilia Loya Hernandez; nieces and nephews: Erika Alvidrez Carrizales, Oscar Alvidrez Jr., Raul Alvidrez, Jessica Alvidrez, Amy Alvidrez, Cookie Alvidrez, Saul Alvidrez Jr., Beatriz Alvidrez Vasquez; and close friends: Adolfo Zavala, Jose Rodriguez, Rudy Ceballos, and Antonio Rivas.
