Hope for Tomorrow club gives to Labor of Love

Inmates of the Roswell Correctional Center (RCC) (above) crocheted holiday elf hats for newborns at Lovelace Regional Hospital. The inmates are members of the HOPE for Tomorrow self-help group, which helps inmates reduce recidivism through peer mentorship. The inmates created the club inside the RCC with support from education supervisor, Sharon Steen, Warden Ruben Benavidez and sponsor, Dan Jennings. Pictured below, Jennings presented the elf hats to our Labor of Love department at Lovelace Regional Hospital. Thank you to the RCC inmates for crocheting adorable hats for our Lovelace babies!
