Luis Rodriguez, 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in Roswell, NM. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Luis’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

Services: There will be a Viewing at Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus on Friday, January 11, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A Special Service will be announced during Viewing hours. Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service Celebration of Luis’ purpose driven life at Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus on Saturday, January 12, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at South Park Cemetery.

On July 4, 1939, Luis was born to Jose and Tomasa Rodriguez in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He married Lydia Salazar on June 30, 1962, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Prior to retirement, Luis worked in construction and as a farmer. His family and friends will dearly miss him.

Survivors: Those left to treasure and cherish memories of Luis are his loving wife, Lydia Rodriguez; children: Brenda Rodriguez, Sandra Romero, Aracely Rivera and husband Fabian, Vilma Velasco; grandchildren: Jessica Orosco, Ryan Canales, Brianna Canales, Julianna Romero, Raven Villa, Abrien Romero, Natalia Romero, Darian Rivera, Jarod Rivera; great-grandchildren: Dominique, Ethan, Isaac, Bella, Caleb, Gabriella, Sierra, Abel, Luis, Antonio; siblings: Jose Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Elfida Hernandez, Elizabeth Chairez, Ezequiel Rodriguez, Daniel Rodriguez, Emma Rodriguez; and many special nieces and nephews that always held a special place in hi heart.

Preceded: Preceding Luis in death were his son, José Luis Rodríguez; parents, José Rodríguez Contreras and Tomasa Guerrero Rodríguez; brother, Jesus Rodríguez, sisters, María Rodríguez Gonzales and Celia Rodríguez Aguirre.
