Dawn Renee Craft (Madsen) passed away Monday January 14, 2019 after a long battle with cancer.  Dawn was a loving mother, sister, daughter, and friend to many Dawn will be missed greatly.

Dawn was born in Knox Indiana on December 11, 1969 to Billie Ray Craft and Edith Juanita Shepherd (Romenzak).

Dawn is survived by her mother Edith Romenzak, Husband Troy Dean Madsen 3 children Troy Dean Madsen II, Courtney Faith Chyanne Madsen, Metallica-Rose Leeanne Madsen and 6 grandchildren Chyanne, Travis, Emery, Arlo, Kiley and Riley. 2 brothers Gary and Frank Craft, 1 sister Cherie Sanchez brother in law Ray Sanchez and 4 nephews Ivan, Alex, Aden Sanchez, Frank Craft, 2 nieces MerryAn Craft, Jazlyn Whybark and several aunts and uncles, cousins and friends.

Dawn is preceded in death by her father Billie Ray Craft her grandmother’sand Grandfather’s Alonza and MaryAnn Shepherd and Woodrow and Goldie Craft. 4 aunts Annette Landrum, connie Norburg, Lynn Kine, Janet Campbell,1 uncle Billy Shepherd and stepfather John Romenzak.

Dawn was born in Indiana where she lived her early years, Dawn met her husband Troy Madsen and moved to Roswell  New Mexico where they were married and had 3 beautiful children Troy, Courtney and Metallica.

Dawn loved being a mother and wife she lived life to the fullest and no matter what life threw at her she always held her head high and wore a smile.  Dawn was so loving and outgoing the life of the party she made friends so easily everyone that knew her loved her.  Dawn had 6 grandchildren who she spent as much time with as possible she loved doing arts asnd crafts and just playing and having fun with her grand babies. Dawn will forever live on through her children grandchildren loved ones and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday Feb. 2, 2019 at 12:00 noon followed by reception at the Midway Baptist Church at 134 Yakima Rd, Dexter, NM 88230
