A man reported missing last Tuesday is back with his family after he showed up at his sister’s residence Friday night.

Eric Rey Gonzales, 31, showed up at his sister’s house at the 200 block of East Deming Street Friday, Todd Wildermuth, public information officer with the Roswell Police Department and city of Roswell, said in an email Monday.

RPD was called at 10 p.m. and told that Gonzales was at his sister’s house, hours after a message was posted on the RPD Facebook page requesting any information from the public that could lead to his location.

Wildermuth said Gonzales appeared to be unharmed when he showed up, but investigators are still trying to establish where he had been since he had last been seen Feb. 4.

“He told different stories about where he had been, with some information, conflicting, so investigators are still trying to talk to him for further information,” Wildermuth said.
