Mary Traczyk, former resident of Roswell for over 40 years said her final goodbye at age 94 on 2/9/19. She bravely went on teaching all she knew about courage and endurance; with a sense of humor, while succumbing to the ravages that define Alzheimer’s disease. She looked at her world with wide-eyed wonder everyday despite not being able to walk or speak, she still had a grin that touched hearts.
Married to Paul for over 40 years she had 4 children. Paula, Carol, Jeff and Phil. Grandchildren Jeremy, Sarah, Nick, Amanda, Emily, Shawn and Damon. Great grands Ariel, Chaz, Hannah, Chloe, and Reid round out the family.
A member of Assumption Parish she was active in many ministries there. Also, Senior Circle and other service organizations before she retired from Ray Bell Oil.
If you would like to honor her life, masses may be said in her name or donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Heartfelt gratitude to all her caregivers in Weatherford Tx. At Peachtree Place where she spent the last 3 years, close to her daughter Carol and son in law, Jerry. As an adopted Texan for 10 years, she always held those in Roswell close to her heart. No funeral is planned, as she preferred for everyone to toast to Life.
