The Roswell Public Library Children’s Program staff will be at Tascosa with kids’ face-painting — along with some sweet adoptable pets who will be visiting from the Humane Society.
Catness — a Patagonian Cavy who will be visiting from Runyan Ranches Rescue Zoo — can be seen at She’s a Dandy from 5-8 p.m., 302 N. Main.

A Cavy, according to event organizers, is a small exotic animal that looks like it stepped out of a Dr. Seuss book.
A number of other special events are planned throughout the First Friday event.
A full list of participating businesses, including activities, specials and store hours, can be found on the MainStreet Roswell Facebook page, and the organization’s website: www.mainstreetroswell.org.
