Maria Samario Lujan, 85, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Maria’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

Services: There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 PM. A Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Friday, March 1, 2019, at 2:00 PM.

On June 3, 1933, Maria was born to Florentino and Consuelo Samario in Roswell, New Mexico. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Maria was a homemaker and mother, who devoted herself to her family. Her greatest joy were her children and grandchildren, she loved spending time with them. Maria’s family will carry fond memories of her and she will be greatly missed by all.

Survivors: Those left to cherish Maria’s memory are her sons: Henry Lujan, Marty Lujan, Christopher Lujan; daughters: Annita Owens, Mary Sanchez and husband Albert; Rosa Vallejos, Tina Lujan, Angela Archuleta, Helen Trapp and husband Kevin, Elizabeth Lujan, Mona Trujillo and husband Shannon; Sisters: Cruz Romero; Lucy lascano; Lupita Guebara; numerous grandchildren, Anjelita Hernandez; great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded: Preceding Maria in death were her husband, Martin Lujan; sons, Richard Lujan and Robert Lujan; daughter, Ernestina De La Cruz; brothers: Nabor Samario, Gonzalo Samario, Tino Samario, Camilo Samario, Frank Samario; parents, Florentino and Consuelo Samario; and sister, Ramona Torres from Tucson, Arizona.
