Letter: Write Trump, urge him to end illegal immigration

Heaven has a wall, a gate, and a strict immigration policy. Hell has open borders.

President Trump will take the paltry sum Congress gave him for a wall. He’ll find money under our country’s sofa cushions, and then he’ll get the rest he needs when the Supreme Court upholds his right to declare a national emergency.

He’ll finish building the wall and secure our southern border.

Many congressional Republicans and virtually all Democrats support an economy that exploits illegal aliens at the expense of legal immigrants and Americans. To his credit, the president’s businesses are promising to use E-Verify and ending the use of illegal labor. All employers should follow his example.

In 1986, President Reagan got played. He granted amnesty to illegal aliens because Congress promised to reform our immigration laws. Congress never kept its word, and their word is no good today, but it is illegal to recruit or hire illegal aliens.

Instead of increasing the number of visas for foreign workers that Congress wants, tell the president to go after employers who break the law.

Write and urge him to raid one business per state per month until both parties give us what we want; an end to illegal immigration:

President Donald J. Trump

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500

Respectfully your knuckle-dragging, Bible banging, flag waving neighbor.
