Services: A Memorial Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at 2:00 PM.

On March 14, 1951, Manuel was born to Cruz and Maria Inez Cereceres in El Porvenir, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was married to Eva Gomez, who preceded him in death in 2015. Manuel worked as a foreman for Allen Roofing for forty-four years, then retired. He was a member of the Labor Union. Manuel’s pastime was working on cars and tinkering with different things. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Manuel was deeply loved, and his family and friends will dearly miss him.

Survivors: Those left to cherish Manuel’s memory are his children: Michelle G. Escamilla-Nunez, Ruth Ann Escamilla-Orozco, Evette Marie Cereceres-Contreras; grandchildren: Christopher Perea, Jessica Rey Cereceres, Michael Nunez, Robert Anthony Medina, Bree Medina, Janelle Nunez, Santiago Herrerra Jr., Eveangelina Herrera, Victoria Orozco, Jesse Contreras, Yasmeen Orozco, Victor Orozco Jr., Vanessa Contreras, Steve Contreras Jr.; great-grandchildren: Evangeline Nunez, Angelique Castillo, Aaliyah Navarro, Joseph Navarro, Manuel Salcido; siblings: Concepcion Cereceres, Rueben Cereceres, Federico Cereceres; uncle, Clemente Cabrales; and nieces and nephews: Rosa Cereceres-Franco, Melissa Cereceres-Gonzales, and Federico Cereceres Jr.

Preceded: Manuel was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Gomez; children: Raymundo Cereceres, Cruzita Cereceres-Medina; parents, Cruz and Maria Inez Cabrales-Cereceres; and grandparents, Faustino and Luz Guerra-Cabrales.
