The Roswell Police Department is requesting the public’s help in their search for a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault Monday at the 1200 block of Washington Avenue, and a missing woman last seen leaving the scene with him.

Saiejohn Huntsman, 34, is accused of threatening and possibly injuring people with a machete. Huntsman also allegedly punched a man multiple times, resulting in injuries that ultimately sent the male victim to the hospital, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the RPD.

These actions happened at the house of the man who was punched. A neighbor called the police at about 4 p.m. after seeing the punched man lying on the ground.

Huntsman allegedly aimed a gun at the punched man and threatened to shoot him before leaving the scene in a gray or silver older-model van, the release states.

Mariah McPherson, 22, and who was at the house during the incident, was possibly injured by Huntsman and was seen leaving the scene with him. She has not been seen since then and is now considered a missing person.
