Alfred Ramon Gamboa, 74, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, in his home surrounded with his loved ones, in Roswell, New Mexico. Please take a moment and share a fond memory or kind expression of sympathy for Alfred’s family at www.andersonbethany.com.

Services: There will be a Viewing at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Sunday, March 10, 2019, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with a service at 6:00 PM, with Frankie Garcia officiating. A Funeral Service will be held at Anderson Bethany Funeral Home on Monday, March 11, 2019, at 10:00 AM. Pastor Savino Sanchez of Church on The Move will be officiating. Interment will follow at General Douglas L. McBride Veterans Cemetery.

On January 24, 1945, Alfred was born to Henry T. and Josephine Nunez Gamboa in Dexter, New Mexico. He joined the US Army 12 FEB 1965 until 8 JAN 1971. Alfred and his wife, Betty Gamboa, married on July 3, 2001, in Roswell, New Mexico. Prior to retirement, he worked in shipping and receiving for Nova Bus (TMC). Alfred was a devoted member of Church on The Move. He loved animals, especially his dogs. Alfred will be greatly missed, and the memories he made with his family will be forever cherished.

Survivors: Left behind to eternally treasure their memories of Alfred are his loving wife, Betty Ann Garcia Gamboa; children: Larry Dutchover and wife Melissa, Angelina Dutchover, Mona Dutchover and husband Miguel Gomez, Jericho Dutchover and fiancé Jovana Sandoval, Jessica Dutchover and husband Ben Mendoza, Crystal Dutchover, Terry Gamboa, Toni Gamboa, Crystal Gamboa; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom he loved dearly; siblings: Fred Gamboa and wife Nora, Joe Gamboa and wife Priscilla, Margie Gamboa, Johnny Gamboa and wife Yolanda, Rosie and Adrian Benavides, Carmen Suarez and husband Oscar, Connie Gamboa, Ernest Gamboa, Jimmy Gamboa; numerous close friends, especially Eddy Rodriguez and Savino Sanchez; and loving pets.

Preceded: Alfred is preceded in death by his parents, Henry T. and Josephine Nunez Gamboa; and brothers: Henry Gamboa Jr. and Ralph Gamboa.

Honorary Pallbearers: Chosen to serve as Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Gamboa, Bubba Gamboa, Benjamin Mendoza, Elijah Dutchover, Isaiah Dutchover, Christopher Dutchover, and Johnathan Dutchover.
