Amberly Meli, registrar at the Roswell Museum and Art Center, gives a lecture on Esther Kisk Goddard, who was wife, photographer and legacy-preserver of Robert H. Goddard, the father of modern rocketry, in the Basset Auditorium on Friday. “We really need to fight to make sure that the invisible women generally overshadowed by their husbands are represented …” Meli said, and wished attendees a happy International Women’s Day. Meli’s full talk about Esther Goddard — and the museum’s future plans for the Robert Goddard exhibit — is available on RMAC’s Facebook page and is one of the monthly Brown Bag Lunch Talk series.
