Our beloved Angie went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 8, 2019, while surrounded by her loved ones at home. Angie touched many lives through her love, kindness, compassion and character. Although we feel her time with us was too short, the quality of every moment spent with her leaves her loved ones with a wealth of precious memories.

Angie was born on August 7, 1957, in Roswell, NM, to Daniel and Isabel Tavarez. She graduated from Roswell High School in 1975. Angie began her college career at Eastern New Mexico University – Roswell, where she met her soul-mate Frank Ramirez. They soon married in April of 1977 in Roswell, NM. Frank and Angie were blessed with three wonderful children. She continued to pursue her studies and obtained her Master of Education Degree. Angie’s true calling was to be an educator. She worked in Administrative Services for the RISD, soon becoming a devout teacher at Missouri Avenue Elementary, with her career totaling 29 years. She loved her students and considered them as her own.

Spending time with family, dancing, camping, fishing, traveling, and reading were things Angie enjoyed the most. Her love for life along with her big, beautiful smile, left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Angie will be greatly missed.
